Instagram Contest Winner: Joyce’s Fun-Filled Trip Report from Cabo San Lucas

Recently, we held an Instagram contest and Joyce was one of our lucky winners of a getaway at the beautiful Villa del Arco Beach Resort! A Cabo San Lucas vacation is always a treat – even more so when you’re the winner of your first-time trip! Here, she shares some of her experiences and photos from an amazing getaway in Los Cabos:

What was your reaction when you heard you’d won? My heart began to beat rapidly. I smiled instantly the moment I received the notification that morning on Instagram. I was extremely happy to discover that I was one of the two chosen because Cabo San Lucas has always been my dream vacation. I will always be grateful to CaboVillas.com for making this happen for me. It was my first visit to Cabo!

How was your experience of staying at Villa del Arco Beach Resort? The staff and hotel guests were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful. I liked that our room had a balcony view and a kitchenette. The balcony view and beachfront access to Médano Beach were a treat. I enjoyed the many pools and jacuzzis. I mainly took advantage of the jacuzzis on the side of the hotel for privacy and relaxation. It was nice to eat at the restaurants on location because they had a beautiful view of the beach. I am glad I got to stay at Villa del Arco. I loved that it had a laid-back feel. I also liked the fact that you can take a free trolley ride to the sister hotel Villa del Palmar to do some grocery shopping, souvenir shopping or order a pizza.

What did you love most about vacationing in Cabo? I loved the beautiful scenery, warm weather, friendly people and the activities in which I engaged. I went ATV riding, parasailing, jetskiing, took a glass-bottom boat tour to The Arch, snorkeling, shopping, and took a ridiculous amount of pictures!
