The service was impeccable, the accommodations were divine and the city of San Jose was unbelievably charming. This was
definitely one of our most enjoyable vacations. We got the opportunity to tour several of the newer resort developments and we vastly preferred the serene beauty of the penthouse at Las Mananitas. We plan to vacation in San Jose every year now, and we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else. We can't wait to share this place with our family and friends.
The villa (Las Mananitas Penthouse) was outstanding in every way. The furnishings were both gorgeous and comfortable. We loved the porch and the way the sliding glass doors opened wide for a full view of the beach. The main living area was huge, with comfortable seating for all. All of the electronics (tv's, dvd, wireless internet, Vonage phone line to US) worked very well. The kitchen was very well equipped and we were so glad that we had arranged a "pre-stocking" of basic groceries. We were a bit worried about the villa being a distance from Cabo San Lucas, but found that we thoroughly enjoyed the easy access to San Jose and all of its amazing restaurants (Voila and French Riviera were are favorite dining experiences, but all were fantastic). Weather also was perfect which made our outdoor activities all the more enjoyable.
Dustin was very helpful in arranging everything before our departure and Lisa was great helping us while we were in Los Cabos. Our housekeeper was extremely pleasant and did a fantastic job.
All of the communications were timely and professional. Being able to arrange concierge activities in advance was a huge help.
Unit 135 is exceptionally nice. The 3 bedrooms & 3 baths made our stay comfortable. The view and opening right to the beach and ocean was spectacular.
