     This year, more than 50 local, national and international companies will display more than a dozen vessels, plus the latest in gadgets, engines, gear, marine products and accessories at the Cabo Marine Show, taking place May 1-4 at the Cabo San Lucas Marina. Read Part 1 here… Day Two On November 22nd we awoke at 5:30 and had our morning coffee. Today we would begin fishing with Pisces Sportfishing. They are a tremendous outfit. Our Captain Orlando and mate Ernesto were fantastic. Again, our whole trip was set up was done by Earth Sea & Sky Vacations (ESSV, Cabovillas.com). Sales agent Hernan put the package together and it would be tough to find much wrong with what we were fortunate to participate in.

    Award-Winning Fisherman Seeking Bisbee Tournament Team

    It was in 2003 when Brady Bunte, a seasoned fisherman, reeled in a monster 565-lb. marlin during the world-famous Bisbee’s Black & Blue tournament. That one brag-worthy blue marlin was a million-dollar win for Bunte. This annual tournament draws some of the best anglers in the world looking to catch the heaviest qualifying black or blue marlin for some truly impressive cash prizes. Through the years, Bunte has remained a strong presence on the tournament circuit. Now, Bunte is looking to gather an experienced team to compete in this year’s upcoming Black & Blue taking place Tuesday, October 23–Saturday, October 27, 2012.

    Record-Setting Tuna Caught at the 13th Annual Bisbee’s East Cape Offshore Tournament Even the best-laid plans go awry sometimes. That’s especially true in tournaments when the fish don’t show up. Or in the case of the 2012 Bisbee’s East Cape Offshore, the right fish failed to make an appearance. No qualifying marlin were weighed in this year’s 13th annual event, which took place July 24-28. But by all other measures, it was an unconditional success. Three hundred and five anglers fishing aboard 61 boats caught 94 billfish during the three days of competition.
