With each of those lovely bedrooms complemented by a private bath, each with a becoming balcony and terrace, it’s easy to see that Alegria is a vacation home of substance and style. Substance is considerable, with 9,000 square feet of airy interior space, including a library and a den. Style holds its own too, with striking uses of marble and granite, and artistic accents that display a designer’s touch. Villa Alegria won’t short you on outside amenities either: you can host a party of 20 with ease, and 8 of those attendees can sigh and splash in the jacuzzi alone, though they might be tempted by bigger splashes in the stylish pool. Why not set up an evening (or three) of outside dining, whether supplied by the full kitchen inside or the gas barbecue out? The stunning ocean view will be tasty either way. Lolling about in villa luxury will consume a lot of your downtime, but don’t forget that the beach and downtown are only a mile or less away. We had a group of friends all staying at this Villa and it was perfect! There was a nice open floor plan in the main house. Great patio space with BBQ and gorgeous view. And the sun settled behind the house, allowing shade in the afternoons for those of us who didn't want to get burnt. Kitchen was big and spacious. The Concierge, Carlos always picked up his phone when we had questions and was eager to help us with anything we needed. Maid service was awesome in getting the place cleaned up for us each day we got back. Car rental is a must-have! Overall, a phenomenal experience. We're looking forward to making it back there!
We had a great time. The villa was perfect for our family and can't say enough about the team that was there daily to meet our needs. Pictures on the net did not do Alegria justice. And there were so many nice surprises, like the pool table (which saw a lot of action). Spa service was delightful. Chef was a great treat. Thanks for all of your help in making this a one-of-a-kind family vacation.
We really enjoyed the private Pedregal beach and whale watching directly from our house. The location was awesome.
