Spice it Up: Our Signature Salsa Recipe

Our entire team is excited to welcome our clients back to Los Cabos. On arrival at your villa rental, a dedicated concierge will welcome you with our signature Mexican salsa, margaritas and chips. Here, Julianne shares an easy recipe to replicate our traditional salsa at home.

• 3 small to medium Roma tomatoes
• ½ medium white onion
• 2 cloves garlic
• Chiles serranos to taste (1 is a good starting point)
• 12 sprigs of cilantro
• 1 TBS olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste

Char your serranos, tomatoes and onion over fire or grill, and if necessary finish them off in a cast iron pan with some olive oil until cooked through (soft).

Place all ingredients in your mortar and pestle (“molcajete”), blender or food processor, and grind ingredients together to your preferred texture and consistency. Enjoy with tortilla chips, huevos rancheros, or fresh handmade corn tortillas with ranchero cheese.
