Travel Sales Agent
Position Summary
We’ve been creating lasting memories from vacations in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for 35 years! If you are an excellent salesperson and are good at using the phone in conjunction with a computer, we have a dream job for you! We are a well-established high-end travel company with 25 employees and are seeking enthusiastic sales persons to join our dynamic and growing team.

Full Time
Earnings: Hourly + Commission
Hours: M-F 40/week with a rotating Saturday
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Positive attitude and team spirit
Dedication to accuracy and honesty
Qualify clients and close the sale
Customize package based on client needs
Meet individual sales metrics and performance goals
Build client relationships and develop repeat clientele by providing excellent customer service
Maintain current knowledge of products and services offered by CaboVillas.com
Actively participate in department meetings
Actively participate in coaching sessions and additional training sessions
Attend presentations by vendor partners to further product/service knowledge
Adhere to strict scheduling requirements to ensure coverage for the sales team
Meet all deadlines
Travel to Los Cabos, Mexico for familiarization trips
Perform general office duties and complete additional projects as requested by management
Follow established company/ department procedures
Learn and utilize multiple computer programs including a reservation system (Track PMS), lead management system (TripAround), live chat system (Tawkto), instant message system (Microsoft Teams), email system (Outlook), website, company network drives, and basic Office and computer navigation skills
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
3 years travel industry experience
Minimum, Associates degree
Proven sales skills
Microsoft Office 365, reservation software and multi-line phone systems
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to learn and memorize a large amount of information
Clear and concise verbal and written skills, 50 WPM
Manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
Motivated, enthusiastic and positive
Self-starter
Call center experience
Knowledge of Los Cabos, Mexico a plus
Location
Santa Cruz County, CA or Remote (USA)
